Where/when: Go Comedy! Improv Theater, 8 p.m. Thursday
Why go: Because seeing a spoof on Robocop is better than building a statue for it.

2. St. James Rummage Sale
Where/when: Saint James Catholic Church, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday-Saturday
Why go: Because you're looking for some good finds.
Pricing: Free
3. 15th Annual Ferndale Pub Crawl
Where/when: Downtown Ferndale, 7 p.m. Friday
Why go: Because you can hang out, have a drink, give to charity and then walk home.
Pricing: $15
4. Pig and Whiskey
Where/when: East Troy, 12-8 p.m. Saturday
Why go: Pig roast and whiskey... that's good enough for me.
Pricing: Event is free but drinks and food require tickets.
5. Thank You For Being a Friend - The Unauthorized GOLDEN GIRLS Musical Parody
Where/when: The Ringwald Theatre (Home of Who Wants Cake?), 3 p.m. Sunday
Why go: Honestly, do you need more than the title to get you to the theatre.
