Get Out: Not Just the Dream Cruise, but Mostly
Here are five things to fill your weekend.
Don't let us tell you what to do; we're not about that. But why don't you let us suggest a few things? It won't hurt. It might actually feel pretty good.
Where/when: 176 Jewell St., 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday-Saturday
Why go: 'Cause you're looking for deals?
Pricing: Free, unless you buy something.
Where/when: East Nine Mile in downtown Ferndale, Thursday-Saturday
Why go: Well, if you're not leaving Ferndale, you kind of have to go if you leave your house. Other reasons: Classic cars!
Where/when: Withington Parking Lot, 6:30-9 p.m. Friday
Why go: Because you'd like to go on a 1.5-hour bike ride to celebrate the Woodward Dream Cruise.
4. Dollar Dogs
Where/when: Zion Lutheran Church, 9:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday
Why go: Dollar hotdogs, dollar chips, dollar water. Park or drive through.
Pricing: $1 if you buy a dog
Where/when: The Rust Belt Market, 1-2:45 p.m. Sunday
Why go: Technically the Woodward Dream Cruise is over (but we all know it will still be around for at least a few more days). So, celebrate the official end of the Cruise with music at the Rust Belt.
