Ferndale Rotary to Host 2nd Annual Soup and Dessert Tasting
Tickets now available for the 'Winter Warm Up' on March 7.

The second annual 'Winter Warm Up' soup and dessert tasting event will be held from 6-10 p.m. Thursday, March 7.
The event, hosted by the Ferndale Rotary, will include food donated from the following local businesses:
- 1917 American Bistro
- Achatz Catering and Soup
- Assaggi Bistro
- Capuchin Soup Kitchen
- Cliff Bells
- Dino's Lounge
- Green Zebra
- Howes Bayou
- John D Bistro
- Katherine's Catering
- Sahara Oak Park
- Steiny's Tavern
Desserts are being donated by the following:
- Local Kitchen and Bar
- Motown Freedom Bakery
- Peteet's Famous Cheesecakes
- Treat Dreams
- Woodward Avenue Candy Shop
Tickets are priced at $30. All proceeds will benefit the Ferndale Rotary's Scholarship Awards program and the Capuchin Soup Kitchen. Attendees will vote for the best foods and also have the chance to bid on fun items during the silent auction.
Theater tickets, jewelry to dress up in and sports memorabilia will be among the auction items.
The event will be held at Shriners Silver Garden, 24350 Southfield Road in Southfield. Ticket price includes sampling of 12 soups, five desserts, salad and breads and two free drink tickets for wine or mixed drinks.
