University High School senior Leamon Wilson is a nominee for the Michigan First Credit Union’s “Young and Free Senior Essay Scholarship.”

Voting will be open until noon on Tuesday, Feb. 19.
The entrants need to get enough votes to be one of the 10 finalists who will move on to the judging round. The judges will decide on three entrants to receive top scholarships of $10,000, $5,000 and $3,000.
