The Cupcake Station in Ferndale has more than two dozen cupcake flavors baked fresh daily. But what's the most popular among local residents?

That would be Lemon Lust, says manager Janine Souther. This is a lemon cupcake topped with tart lemon white chocolate cream cheese frosting.

But Ferndale doesn't follow the trend of the Cupcake Station's other locations - Birmingham, Plymouth and Ann Arbor. The most popular flavor is usually Bump-a-licious, Souther says.

Bump-a-licious is a dark chocolate cupcake with buttercream bumps, dipped in chocolate and drizzled with white chocolate.
