Man Arrested in Ferndale for Sixth Drunken Driving Offense
The following information was provided by the Ferndale Police Department.
A Royal Oak man was recently arrested in Ferndale for his sixth drunken driving offense, according to a report from Ferndale Police.
Around 6 p.m. Jan. 30, Ferndale Police arrested Lance Richard Petway, 42, of Royal Oak, for drunken driving. Police said Petway, who has five prior similar convictions, was stopped after running a red light on northbound Woodward at Marshall.
Petway's license was suspended from prior Operating While Intoxicated convictions, according to police, and he has previously been convicted of Driving While License Suspended.
Petway was arraigned Thursday afternoon for Operating While Intoxicated - Third Offense (Felony), and Driving While License Suspended, Second Charge, according to the report. Bond was set at $5,000 cash/surety

Boy oh boy is he going to be punished when he finally kills someone driving drunk. Until then he had better pay attention to those red lights, right?
