The Ferndale Middle School's 7th and 8th Grade Combined Orchestra received straight 1st division ratings at the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association District Festival over the weekend, according to the Ferndale Public Schools Facebook page.
A first division rating signifies an excellent musical performance and is the highest rating possible.
