Ferndale-based attorney Lisa J. Schmidt is hosting a discussion on gay marriage on Monday at the Ferndale Public Library.
The event, part of Schmidt's 'Straight Talk' series, will be held at 7 p.m. Jan 21 at the library.
Schmidt will present the current state of the law and its implications as well as taking a predictive look at the effect of the Supreme Court's upcoming decisions on California's Prop 8 and the Defense of Marriage Act.
