Clothing designs by Ferndale artist Matthew Richmond will be featured in a charity fashion show this weekend at the Village of Rochester Hills.
The Spring Fashions event, which will present village retailers' spring and summer clothing lines, starts at 10 a.m. Sunday, March 24.
It will be held in a heated tent at the village, located at the Northeast Corner of Adams and Walton Boulevard.
Tickets cost $25, with all proceeds benefiting local children’s nonprofit organization Kidz Kare.
Richmond, the “Paper Dress Code” fashion designer, creates all of his couture dresses from paper.
The show will also feature village retailers such as Ann Taylor, Carson’s (formerly Parisian), Banana Republic, Eddie Bauer, Apricot Lane, Cold Water Creek and more.
Mimosas will be provided by the Village and Whole Foods and appetizers by Bravo! Cucina Italiana. Tickets can be purchased in advance here.
