Ferndale All-Schools June Fair on Friday Offers Old-Fashioned Fun
The Ferndale Elementary PTA invites the entire school community to Roosevelt Elementary from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Friday for games, dunk tanks, face painting, food and more.
An evening of old-fashioned fun will be held outside Roosevelt Primary School from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Friday.
The annual Ferndale Elementary PTA June Fair has been a community tradition for more than 50 years and features dunk tanks, a "throw the bean bag in the toilet bowl" game, face painting, a rock climbing wall, inflatables, a cake walk, choir and band performances, fresh BBQ and more.
Ferndale parent and June Fair coordinator Brad Parks said the end-of-the-year celebration is open to everyone in the Ferndale schools community and is completely volunteer-staffed - with more than 100 parent and student volunteers participating.
All proceeds will go to the FE-PTA to fund special events at Roosevelt and Coolidge Intermediate School, including school assemblies, buses for class trips, and teacher grants for special projects.
Guests will enjoy performances by the Ferndale Middle School/Ferndale High School Choir and Band. There is no fee to enter and the event will be held rain or shine.

Just to let everyone know, most of the events will now be held indoors. Don't let the weather scare you off. :)
