Students from Roosevelt Primary School and Coolidge Intermediate School participated in a Fun Run on Thursday outside Roosevelt. The students enjoyed music, encouragement from the Movin' Max mascot and warm, sunny weather as they walked, ran and jogged around the school. The event, which was put on by the national Get Movin' Crew organization, served as a fundraiser for the Ferndale Elementary PTA. In this video, Get Movin' Crew founder and president Wendy Tibus describes why the event is important.
