Thanks for the spotlight! I would like to just clarify a couple of things that we offer especially for Ferndale residents and that is, as one of the cities selected for the Better Buildings for Michigan Program, Ferndale residents are eligible to receive an energy makeover that includes: Direct Installation of energy savings measures, comprehensive energy audit and access to low financing and matching grants from Michigan Saves. This can all be yours for a low copay of $100.00. Consumers Energy also offers an energy assessment with direct installs and access to rebates for $50.00. I recommend participating in the Better Buildings for Michigan program if you are a Ferndale resident so that you can access the matching grant along with the Consumers Energy rebates. Please call our office if you have any questions at (313) 366- 8535.
