Paczki, the local hallmark for Fat Tuesday, just got a little more tempting with Peteet’s Famous Cheesecake’s decadent twist.

For Fat Tuesday on February 12th only, Peteet’s Famous Cheesecake in Oak Park is offering cheesecake-stuffed paczki using their famous cheesecake in a custard filling.

Flavor offerings include original, lemon, raspberry, blueberry, strawberry, apple and – new this year – a margarita cheesecake paczki with a hint of key lime and tequila.

“People were so excited when we did this last year. Our cheesecake-stuffed paczki were a huge hit and we have had people asking for them already again this year,” said Patrick Peteet, owner of the Oak Park bakery.

The prices are: $1.85 each, $9 for a half-dozen and $16 for a dozen.

Peteet's is also introducing a new cheesecake flavor, a gluten free Sweet Potato cheesecake made with a ginger snap crust.
